Happy First Day of June!

Can you already smell the summer? I do! Woot!

I really can’t wait for the summer and I guess you already have an idea why. But of course, it is the time of the year for grand family bonding. Can you say, vacay?!

I don’t know where we are going yet, but hubby says he already has plans. I just hope he won’t change his plans. If he will, then sorry me. Or better luck next time. Hehe.

Breathtaking Autumn

As promised, here’s another photo that I’ve taken when we visited one of the tourist spots here in the city, Blue Ridge Parkway. Look at those lovely colors. Isn’t that beautiful? I can’t stop myself from taking photos because they were just so awesome.

We were still in the lower elevation at this time, about a thousand feet. How I wished I had a DSLR camera when we went there and for certain, the photos would have been more sharp and lovely. Well, I will just go back there when I already have my dream camera. Not bad eh!

French Broad River

We were on top of the mountain with an elevation of 2,000 plus when I took this photo about three weeks ago. That is the French Broad River. It runs through different states like North Carolina, Tennessee and more. I don’t know how long the river is and how far it goes.

But did you notice the color of the leaves? This was a week or two after the start of Fall. It was on a Sunday and the weather was perfect, a very beautiful fall weather. It wasn’t too cold or chilly so the husband decided to take me and my son there. That was the first time that we had seen the place and we were both in awe.

The place was so beautiful with all the fall colors. I’ve taken lots of photos, but I will share them one by one.
