Joshua Tree?
Nah, I know it’s not. This tree was the first one that caught my eyes as soon as we parked at one of the overlooks at Blue Ridge Parkway. A guy took a photo of it too and I actually asked him what kind of tree it was, but like me, he had no idea. It was such a beautiful tree and its color was just lovely.

Winter Tree
I called it winter tree because as we all know, trees got bald during winter. Last year’s winter was my first experience of winter since we arrived here in autumn. It was my first time too to see ‘bald trees’ and I really found them beautiful. I had taken a lot of photos from all over the city and here’s one of them.
We were at McDonald’s parking lot during this time. My son and I stayed inside the car while the husband was getting us food inside. It would be nice to put lights in it. It will make a lovely Christmas tree then. Don’t you think so?
