Her Final Bell Has Tolled
I talked to my mom on Skype earlier today and I was sad to hear the news that my teacher in grade school passed away last week after her years of battle with breast cancer. She was still undergoing Chemotherapy the last time I heard about her.
There is really no uncertainty in life about one thing: we will all eventually hear the tolling of that final bell of our life. That is why it always pays to be ready for the inevitable, like getting term life insurance so our family will not be left hanging once we leave them.
I know it’s sad to think about these things, but what can I say. That is life, isn’t it?
The Road is Calling My Name
Two months more to go and my son and I will have our first ever road trip here in the U.S. We are going to Virginia and Washington, D.C. to attend my alma mater’s reunion. It will be our first out-of-state trip and I am really getting giddy about it.
The husband will be the one driving and how I wish we had our own RV to take, but we don‘t. Still, it is in my dream to have one even if the insurance rates are high. I do believe there is still affordable rv insurance to be found.
Well, I don’t have the RV yet and here I am worrying about the insurance. I think the best thing for me to do is cross that bridge when I get there.
