Hmmm…Which Do I Want First?

Have you seen those high sierra backpacks? I came across them online today and I just love the lively and youthful colors of the bags. I know I don’t belong to the youth class anymore, but getting one for myself is one of the many things that would make me feel young. Teehee.

I am still contemplating on which one to get. I certainly would want one after I get my much-desired laptop, the number one thing on my list of wants. Should I wait for the laptop and get the backpack now? Hmmm, think! Think! Think!

A Bowl of Golf Balls

This caught my attention as soon as we were done playing at the mini golf where my son’s 9th Birthday Party was held. This was sitting at the cashier’s counter. Ain’t that cute? Just add water and it will turn into a golf ball soup. LOL.

What attracted me the most were the different colors that was in it. It is very colorful, isn’t it?

Organization is My Middle Name

It’s almost dinner time, but here I am still busy sorting our documents in our file cabinet. It’s been a couple of weeks already since we took a huge envelope with us on our trip to a nearby city and it’s only now that I get to take the documents from the envelope and arrange them in the cabinet. I’ve been wanting to do it, but it slipped my mind. And when I saw it today, I told myself, it’s now or never. They should be put back where they belong – organized and all.

How I wish we had a mesa safe though because I know some of these important documents should be put in a safe place for security reasons. I will look into that later.

She’s a Fool for the Pool

I talked to our 8-year-old neighbor last week and she told me how she wished they had an indoor pool so they could go swimming year round. They have a kiddie pool outside their house which they only get to use during the summer. They don’t have one of those pool heat pumps so that’s the only time they can use it.

It’s already winter and the temperature has dropped and though there were recent days that we had a spring-like weather, still, it’s way too cold to take a dip in the pool. I guess she’ll just have to be patient and wait for summer.

My Sleep is Now Sound

Six more days and my son and I will be celebrating our first anniversary here in the U.S. It will be the day before Thanksgiving this year and it is simply perfect timing because we do have a lot of things to be thankful for.

I can still remember the sleepless nights I had during our first two weeks here. My internal clock was still adjusting to the new time, thus, giving me difficulty in sleeping. The husband already thought of getting me a white noise maker as his friend suggested to him, but after my friend told me that her sleep got okay in two weeks, I chose to wait. And gladly, I’ve had good sleep after that.

That was really tiring for me, I am thankful that I overcame the problem.

Soon, the Music Will Be Blasting Here!

My husband’s annual company picnic this year was the first that we have attended as family. Adults and children had a blast because they had games for all of us. The food was superb too and to top it off, the company gave each of their employees a door price.

My husband got ipod touch speakers. I was so delighted when he got them because I’ve always been thinking of getting me an ipod. Yes, it is on my wish list and hopefully soon, I’ll get me one so the speakers here will be put on use. For the meantime, they are only a house décor. Hehe.

Water Fountain

This water fountain can be seen at the park which was located in the middle of downtown. We passed by it when we went to see a concert about two weeks ago. What I like about this fountain is its unique design. It is not the usual fountain that you see elsewhere. Can you tell? It was my first time to have seen such and I know I have to take a snap shot.

My son was so fascinated with it too and he actually played with the water. I will post that one next time. For now, enjoy the water first.

I wonder what was the size of this fountain, but it is really huge. It is round and for a guess I’d say, 12 feet by 12 feet. Just a guess. It might be bigger than that.
