Which Way to Go Chasing MY Dream

Think! Think! Think! That was what I’ve been telling myself to do so I can figure out what business to venture into. Nothing big yet. I want to start in a small way since I don’t have big capital to start with. But the question is…what kind of business?

I know it takes a lot of hard work, determination and dedication to go into business – big or small – and I guess I need to look into product bundling whatever what I choose. But I will deal with that later. I need to decide on what business first. I’ve been choosing between accessories like jewelry that is made of beads or buying used stuff and reselling them. This is hard! Help!

Mr. Woody Woodpecker

I looked out from our bedroom window one time just to look outside when this scene awed me. I was really surprised to see this woodpecker right up on the tree in front of the window. I’ve been hearing woodpeckers all throughout spring and summer, but  I never got to see them, more so, not this up close. I had to grab my camera and took this. It would have been nicer if I had a DSLR camera. The photo would have been sharper. But it still looks nice, isn’t it?

Why Clean When I Can Watch Somebody Else Do It?

My favorite channel is HGTV because I get a lot of ideas there on how to beautify our home, making it a more cozy and warm place to live in. I have already incorporated some of what I’ve seen in some of the shows, like paint colors for the different rooms, but I still have a lot of things in mind to do and change.

Like changing the living room carpet into a bamboo floor. I do believe wood floors are easier to clean and manage. I know durham cleaning services will always be there to lend us a hand whenever we need help in cleaning, but the problem is, in our budget is tight so if there is anybody who will clean the house, it will be me so it will be free. LOL. But if all else fails, I will save some moolah so they can clean the place for me.

Soon, Soon I’ll Be Zoom Zooming Down the Road!

I really can’t wait to start my driving lessons and, of course, shop for my car. But we can’t do anything until I get my Social Security Number, and then take the learner’s permit exam which I am hoping I will pass. I have been reading and studying the handbook and my friend also gave me an idea on what the test usually covers, but I can’t help but get nervous.

Maybe I will just focus on the car that I wanted for now, huh? Teehee. We are looking into car title loans to see what will suit us best. I do have my dream car, but for a start, I don’t really mind if it will be something else. We have a budget to think of and for me, it is always a must to be wise on our spending than just jump to my wants without thinking of the priorities. Being in debt is the last thing in my vocab.

Twin Rainbows

It was in the early part of winter. It wasn’t snowing, but it was raining a li’l bit. When the rain stopped around mid-afternoon, these two beautiful rainbows were what we saw. I actually didn’t know there were two until our neighbor told me because when I looked at the kitchen window, all I can see was one.

There were two, but one is brighter than the other. Can you tell on the photo?

I took this photo from our front porch. Ain’t that beautiful?

As if There’s Anything to Find in My Background

Wherever we go, spam is following us, isn‘t it? Spam snail mails and spam e-mails. How I wish they were real spam so at least it will help make my tummy happy. LOL. But they’re not. Though sometimes they can be annoying, there were some that were helpful too.

Like those coupons in the snail mailbox and the back ground check in the email. The latter was amusing for me though because it says, someone just made a back ground check on me. I was like, “Really?” Funny!

Organization is My Middle Name

It’s almost dinner time, but here I am still busy sorting our documents in our file cabinet. It’s been a couple of weeks already since we took a huge envelope with us on our trip to a nearby city and it’s only now that I get to take the documents from the envelope and arrange them in the cabinet. I’ve been wanting to do it, but it slipped my mind. And when I saw it today, I told myself, it’s now or never. They should be put back where they belong – organized and all.

How I wish we had a mesa safe though because I know some of these important documents should be put in a safe place for security reasons. I will look into that later.
