She’s a Fool for the Pool

I talked to our 8-year-old neighbor last week and she told me how she wished they had an indoor pool so they could go swimming year round. They have a kiddie pool outside their house which they only get to use during the summer. They don’t have one of those pool heat pumps so that’s the only time they can use it.

It’s already winter and the temperature has dropped and though there were recent days that we had a spring-like weather, still, it’s way too cold to take a dip in the pool. I guess she’ll just have to be patient and wait for summer.

I’ll Get it Done, a Little Bit at a Time

Every single day, I watch the same shows – The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Rachael Ray Show and those makeover shows on HGTV. I get ideas from the latter and I actually have already incorporated some of what I had seen there in our humble abode. There is still much to do, but I am taking it one step at a time.

Yesterday, the show ‘Candice Tells All’ on HGTV had a bathroom makeover. And as always, the makeover was really amazing. She changed the old tub to one of those beautiful clawfoot tubs which made the bathroom really elegant. I just love it. I wish our bathroom was like that. Maybe in the future. Keep on dreaming!

We’re Up in the Sky!

See the clouds? Yep, they are not fog anymore because by this time, we were already in the higher elevation which was about 6,000 plus feet. It was really awesome! I was in awe of the beauty of nature, but I was also a little scared because at the left side of the road is already a cliff. The speed limit is around 30 only though, but still, we do know accidents can happen anytime.

There were a lot of tourists that time.

And you can’t really go pass any vehicle so you have to tag along which is the best way to do it actually because you get to embrace the beauty that surrounds you.

I do hope we get to visit the place again in the future. Maybe when I already got me a super nice camera. The photos would really be great then!

Rub-a-Dub Dub, She Looks Good in Scrubs

My sister-in-law tagged me on my one-year-old niece’s photos on Facebook whenever she posts a new one. One day, I was so delighted to see my niece’s photo where she was wearing nursing scrubs. She was really cute. I thought at first that it was a gift from her aunt who is a nurse. I was wrong. My sister-in-law had them custom made for her.

The first time I saw medical scrubs for kids was last Christmas when my husband’s nieces received some from their Nana. The scrubs were really cute. Maybe I will get my niece some too so she will have more pairs.

A Peach of a Beach Nuptials

What is a perfect wedding for you? Mine would be a barbados wedding at the beach where you could hear the sound of the waves while saying your vows. The gentle breeze would also add ambiance since it would blow your veil in the air adding more beauty to the scene. That would simply be romantic.

Yes, that is how I picture a perfect wedding, but I also consider our wedding simply perfect because our family was there to join and celebrate our joy and love. I am being cheesy now, huh? Teehee.

They Rock!

I had been talking about the trip that we had to this tourist destination high above the mountains where the beauty it possesses was just overwhelming. And during that trip, one thing that caught my attention were those rock formations beside the road which are simply awesome, as well as those bikers that were flying. There were a lot of them and the sound of their bikes roared like we were in a cave. I like the sound, though it did kind of destroy the serenity that the place was supposed too have.

Nevertheless, we enjoyed the beauty of nature as well as the people that we saw there. All of us had one thing in mind – to enjoy the beauty God made.

See those rocks and those bikers? They’re both rockin! (“,)

He’s a Busy, and Noisy, Boy

My husband is busy putting some things up in our son’s bedroom and while he’s doing it, his favorite music is also playing. And with our surround speakers, I can totally hear it all from where I am sitting here in our bedroom.

That is one thing that we have in common, we do love music and we listen to music while doing something. It lessens the stress I believe.
