Her Final Bell Has Tolled

I talked to my mom on Skype earlier today and I was sad to hear the news that my teacher in grade school passed away last week after her years of battle with breast cancer. She was still undergoing Chemotherapy the last time I heard about her.

There is really no uncertainty in life about one thing: we will all eventually hear the tolling of that final bell of our life. That is why it always pays to be ready for the inevitable, like getting term life insurance so our family will not be left hanging once we leave them.

I know it’s sad to think about these things, but what can I say. That is life, isn’t it?

Testing the Water

Scroll down a little below this post and I did say that I will share about my son playing with the water from the fountain. I shared this with my family back home on Facebook and they kidded him on where’s the soap. LOL.

I didn’t have the chance to touch the water at all because I was busy taking pictures of him having fun. Well, I think I am old enough too to play with the water, huh?

He actually circled around the fountain while playing with the water, and he didn’t seem to have of plans of stopping not until we told him it’s time to leave. He certainly was having a good time!

I Can Be So Klutzy

I was in a hurry in putting my earrings on because my husband and son were already waiting outside when one of the earrings slipped out of my fingers and fell on the carpet. It was one of my yellow gold earrings and with the dark brown carpet, it should have shown brightly, but it went near the foot of the bedside table so it took me almost 10 minutes to find it.

It would have been easier if my two boys helped me looked for it or if I had one of those metal detectors garrett. LOL. I can be clumsy at times so, maybe I really need one. What do you think?

Beach or Bust!

Our neighbor, Heather together with her family are going on vacation next week. I found out about it last week when she dropped by here at home and told me about it. They are going to one of the beaches of South Carolina. I’ve heard of the place many times because it is known as one of the most visited vacation spots.

We may visit the place someday. I am not really a beach person, but I am more wanting to see the place and I also want to know what made the place famous.

They will be leaving this weekend and she is now busy preparing for what they need including the details about the emergency roadside assistance that they may need. I know for sure they will have a blast!

Water Fountain

This water fountain can be seen at the park which was located in the middle of downtown. We passed by it when we went to see a concert about two weeks ago. What I like about this fountain is its unique design. It is not the usual fountain that you see elsewhere. Can you tell? It was my first time to have seen such and I know I have to take a snap shot.

My son was so fascinated with it too and he actually played with the water. I will post that one next time. For now, enjoy the water first.

I wonder what was the size of this fountain, but it is really huge. It is round and for a guess I’d say, 12 feet by 12 feet. Just a guess. It might be bigger than that.
