A Pretty Face Awaits You

Are you just like my 15-year-old niece who is having problems with acne? It’s been her problem since she became a teen and I think she got that from her dad, my brother in law, because he suffered from acne during his younger years too, but with the help of an acne treatment product, it disappeared.

But the acne medicine that he used didn’t work for my niece, his daughter. She is now using a new product though and so far, so good. She still gets acne from time to time, but not as much as before. If you want to know what product it is and want to have it too, click here to buy.

Remembering His Grandparents

It was one of those unplanned moments not to mention a surprise moment for me. The hubby can be sneaky at times and that day was one of those sneaky times. It was on a Saturday, we went out to go shopping for groceries, but instead of stopping at the supermarket, the hubby went straight ahead. I was like, “Where are we going?” And he replied, “Secret!” with that mischievous grin on his face.

And this was where we went – the church where my hubby’s grandparents used to attend a service. It is located in a county near the city where we live. It was my hubby’s first visit of the place after a long long time. He can’t even remember when was the last.

Adjacent to the lot where the church was located was this cemetery where my hubby’s grandparents as well as great grandparents and other relatives were buried. We roamed around the cemetery and checked all the names that were written on those tombstones.

Hubby told me who those people were and I was glad to know them even only in that way. At least I got a bit of info from his ancestors.

That was such a nice day.  A day of reminiscing…

Finally, My Legs Can Get Some Air

I’ve been raring for spring to arrive and now that it is here, I couldn’t be happier. Silly as it may seem, but one of the reasons is because I can’t wait to wear my shorts. Shorts were always my favorite get-up back home since it is always hot there almost all throughout the entire year. But when I arrived here, the cold weather hindered me from wearing them.

Since spring has sprung, I have been enjoying my favorite wear constantly. Maybe I can also say, my shorts have sprung. Hee hee.

The Road is Calling My Name

Two months more to go and my son and I will have our first ever road trip here in the U.S. We are going to Virginia and Washington, D.C. to attend my alma mater’s reunion. It will be our first out-of-state trip and I am really getting giddy about it.

The husband will be the one driving and how I wish we had our own RV to take, but we don‘t. Still, it is in my dream to have one even if the insurance rates are high. I do believe there is still affordable rv insurance to be found.

Well, I don’t have the RV yet and here I am worrying about the insurance. I think the best thing for me to do is cross that bridge when I get there.

Maybe It’s a Matter of Choice

Whenever I see obese people anywhere, I wonder what if that was me? Though there is a fat chance of that ever happening since I’ve always been skinny, I still ask myself what if it did happen? The choice is mine, I know. If I don’t watch my diet, maybe I will end up being obese. And I would be the first obese in the family since we are a clan of skinny and small people.

Sometimes I wonder though if those obese people have tried losing weight with a use of a pill like fenphedrine. Or perhaps they really want to be big and are happy with their body. Whatever it is, for as long as they are still enjoying life to the fullest, no problem.

Tunnel Road

I think I don’t need to explain further why this road is called Tunnel Road. Yep, it is because of this tunnel. I’ve never seen such kind of Tunnel before that is why I was really fascinated when we first passed by it. The husband really made sure to show it to us on our first trip to downtown.

The tunnel was made a long time ago. My husband can’t actually remember when. All he can remember is that, it was already there when he was still little.

We don’t have this kind of tunnel in our city back home. It was amazingly made. They made a hole out of a mountain as well as made a road between two mountains on the other side of this tunnel. Imagine what man can do.

Mommy Gets the Best

Seeing the flowers bloom in our front yard reminds me of the last time I received a bouquet of flowers. It was on Mother’s Day last year and it came from my husband who was still my fiance’ then. By next month, it will be Mother’s Day again and knowing my husband to be extra-sweet and romantic, I do wonder what is in store for me this year?

Will it still be the same high rated flowers for Mother’s Day like what I had last year? Or will it be chocolates for a change? That remains to be seen, but don’t worry, I will surely tell you about it. (“,)
