Let It Snow
But nah, it already stopped snowing two days ago but then again, the snow is still here. The surrounding is still covered with those white and fluffy snow and they are just so beautiful. I had captured a few photos and I will post them next time. For now, I just want to write about it first and how I love watching them.
For others who have seen snow ever since, this is not what they wanted for it is a pain in the ass especially when you’re on the go. The roads can be slick and really dangerous. But I am just at home that is why I am loving it. This year’s snow was my first too since I only got here in the land of Uncle Sam in November. In our country which is tropical, you won’t get even a drop of snow. LOL. That is why this is so amazing for me. Something new for me, that is. I do wonder though if I will still love it if I will start working soon. Hmmm, remains to be seen, huh?
Fascination with Airplanes
That is my son’s silhouette there. He has always been fascinated with airplanes more so when we got into the Manila International Airport where airplanes just come and go. That really amazed him because in our city, you could only see two airplanes at the same time since it is only a domestic airport.
I’ve taken this photo when we were in Tokyo, Japan. He wasn’t aware about this. I was amused with that look on his face so I didn’t have second thoughts of capturing this moment.
Snow Flurries
This is mine and my son’s first experience of snow. We’ve been looking forward to seeing it and we had it on the second week of December. It was not a heavy snow yet though, just flurries but the fact that it is still snow made us really delighted. It is definitely an amazing sight seeing them falling from above.
I can still remember that day, I was still lying in bed and saw them falling from the window. I asked my fiance’ what it was and he said, “It’s snow, Honey!” I was like, “Wow!” My son was awakened when I exclaimed that and got giddy himself. It is really lovely!
What Are Friends For?
These are the words that I often hear from my friends. Yes, that’s how sweet they are whenever I am or one of us is down and needs their comfort. I have this circle of friends, there are six of us to be exact who’s been through good times and bad. We laughed, we cried, we quarreled, name it, we’ve been there.
It has been fifteen years of friendship and still counting and I do believe we will all be friends for life. We are actually Godmothers of each others’ kids. There are still three of them who haven’t had kids yet though. Two of whom are still single and the other one has not been blessed with a kid yet. Perhaps soon and for sure, the group will be the Godmothers of that kid again.
